Naka is located in the Mengsong mountain range, North of Menghai. The village has ancient tea gardens and plantations established from the 1980s on. The village has acquired fame since 2010 for delivering both fragrance and short-lived bitterness, as well as a good huigan.

This is the First autumn tea in my little collection of sheng. And its the first tea from naka/mengsong. It brews quite soft and light with a lot of sweetness. You get some menghai taste but in a more fruity way compared to the bulang or pasha teas i tried. For me its the perfect 'second tea of the day'. When i already had a strong session in the morning i often find myself being kind of saturated and wanting something softer and less powerful in the afternoon. Thats what this tea is perfect for. To me it almost has a kind of greenteaish apperance because of its light mouthfeel. Nevertheless it has a nice bitte and you want more and more. I think all those features and the low price make it a great tea for someone who is starting into Pu erh.

It sings to you it's song of pure beauty.
Longevity, complexity, elegance. It's all there.
Don't be fooled by the price.
