The Jingmai Gulan is a blend of several ancient tea garden material growing around Jingmai village. Every year, we do research to refine the blend and find the best leaves available. In 2019, we used leaves from four gardens located on the Da Ping Zhang plateau and the upper slopes bordering the village. The leaves were all cooked in a wok in our small tea factory.
We try to achieve a balance between fragrance, mouthfeel, aftertaste and body feel. The exceptional weather conditions of Spring 2019, with few rains and hot temperatures, led to a slow growth of the leaves and a more powerful tea than usual.
Due to the low yield, we could only produce 50kg of this tea. We hope you will enjoy this premium production for its complexity and overall punch.

Nothing to add to the other reviews except that the tea is a charmer opening itself up as the session prolongs itself. I am now 2 hours into it and it still has not given up the last of its rich and complex sweet taste. Definitely one for the ages!

just arrived
the initial bitterness in the first steep bodes well for a classy experience it turns into sweetness with a lovely mouthfeel-----as the session progresses the taste keeps on deepening--- an all together magnificent experience----very special!!!

Wonderful
Yummy tea with lively mouthfeel as the session progresses. Very little bitterness with some dryness to begin, then bitterness vanishes and dryness becomes sweet juice that lingers long after the session is over. Interesting Cha Qi that caught my attention later.
