Shipping Policy

We produce tea in Jingmai mountain; our warehouse is located in Puer city, where the climate is more suitable to long-term pu-erh tea storage.

We offer free shipping worldwide on all orders above 30$! For order below that price, we charge a 4$ flat rate.

When you order tea on Farmerleaf, we ship it from Puer city using EMS e-packets when available, which is the case for most western countries, otherwise, we use SAL China Post service. With e-packets, it typically takes one week to arrive in the USA, two to four weeks in Europe. With SAL, it takes two to four weeks to arrive anywhere in the world.

For China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, we use SF express to ship there, it takes one to four days to arrive.

Customs clearance

Some countries do not accept tea packages without exports paperwork. Your tea shipment could be stopped by the customs and sent back to us. We are not responsible for the extra taxes that could be charged when clearing customs at the destination country.

If you have any problem with your order, you can contact us and we'll try to help. If you're worried about customs clearance and live in EU, you can order through our France-based website www.bannacha.com that we've run since 2011.

Customer information privacy

We highly respect your privacy and ask you to provide the bare minimum information necessary to deliver your package. Chinese post systematically requires the addressee phone number; it is common practice in China. Don't worry; we won't try to call you to sell you think while you're having breakfast!

We keep all of your information confidential.

Tracked package

A tracking number will be sent to you as soon as we ship your order. We usually ship the orders within 48 hours; however, it can take more time during peak seasons. The delivery can also be delayed during Chinese holidays such as the Spring Festival in February.

In any way, you can always contact us to know about your shipping status.
