Hei Gu Zi was born in Jianshui and studied art in Beijing. During her studies, she met an Indian teacher from which the patterns she likes to paint on her teaware are inspired. She makes her teaware without wheel and voluntarily creates irregular shapes. She blends the clay herself and uses a majority of white clay from Jianshui. Her pottery has a slightly rough texture which is very pleasant to the touch.
This small tea bowl can be used for brewing tea or to put your discarded water during a Gongfu session.
